Both principals have more than 25 years of experience each conducting biophysical inventories, planning and impact assessment in western and northern Canada. They maintain their professional memberships, regularly attend conferences and upgrade their professional skills to continue to provide current expertise to their clients.

Jane Lancaster B.Sc. P. Biol.

Jane Lancaster provides technical expertise in ecological land classification, vegetation inventory and analysis, wetland inventory, rare plant surveys, mitigation and impact assessment, reclamation design and vegetation monitoring. Jane has been the discipline lead and senior author for the vegetation components of environmental impact studies for mine developments, oil and gas developments and pipelines in Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Jane has participated in consultation workshops with stakeholders and conducted third party reviews of Environmental Impact Assessments for regulators. Jane is a specialist in rare plant identification and has contributed to a book on Alberta rare plants and industry guidelines on rare plant surveys, monitoring and reclamation practices. She is an active member of the Fescue Restoration Forum and contributes to other local initiatives to promote and conserve native vegetation.

Ken BakerB.Sc., M.E.Des., R.P.F.

Ken Baker has a diverse range of environmental experience in western Canada spanning three decades. Ken provides expertise in the areas of project management and planning relating to environmental impact assessment, conservation and reclamation plans, environmental protection plans, waste management and environmental technologies. Field expertise includes vegetation inventory and mapping, wetland assessment, targeted rare plant surveys, wildlife inventory, construction monitoring and pipeline environmental inspection and monitoring.
